IPL auction is around the corner and there are few uncapped Indian players who could trigger a bidding war. Let's look at a few of the uncapped players who could get the big bucks.
Avesh Khan
Avesh Khan had a great season in the last IPL. He was Delhi Capitals' go-to man in any situation despite having some experienced bowlers like Ishant Sharma. He has the seam and pace to make the batsmen uncomfortable. Of late he has been traveling with the Indian team as a member. Although he could not make his international debut till now, he is certainly a player to watch out for in the future. All the teams in this IPL will surely benefit by having him in the team.
Deepak Hooda
Deepak Hooda has been on the radar for quite some time now. He played for multiple IPL teams, but could not make a mark for himself in any of those seasons. One of the reasons why he could not succeed was due to the lack of role clarity. He is coming into the auction on the back of stellar performances in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare trophy which earned him a spot in the Indian team for the home series against West Indies. Hooda is an aggressive player who can be used in the middle overs to accelerate the innings or in the late innings to provide the impetus for a strong finish. He would be on the radar of all the teams in the IPL.
Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan is a hard-hitting batsman who has helped Tamil Nadu to Syed Mushtaq Ali triumph this season. He hit the winnings runs with a six in the final of Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. He represented Punjab Kings in the last season and had a decent season with them. This time around he is more experienced and has also earned a callup to the Indian team as a reserved member, and was eventually called into the main team for the ODI series against West Indies. His hard-hitting skills and part-time spin will surely be an asset for any team.
Rahul Tripathi
Rahul Tripathi has played for multiple teams and has been quite successful with Kolkata Knight Riders in the last season. He was overshadowed by the emergence of Venkatesh Iyer as an opener in the KKR camp, but he also played his part to perfection. He lends balance to the team with his batting and part-time off-spin. Tripathi can also be used as a floater in the batting order. All the teams will definitely have an eye on him.
Shivam Mavi
Shivam Mavi is an exciting fast bowler, but he was always plagued by injuries and could only play a few matches in IPL till now. He looks to be much more fit now and is raring to go. His ability to swing the ball gives a hard time to the batsmen and he could also clock the speed of 140+ kph. This year could be a chance for him to establish himself as one of the most dependable upcoming Indian fast bowlers.
